Biodiesel is a renewable fuel for diesel engines that produced form vegetable oil or animal vat Chemical process (esterification trans-esterfication) used in raw meterial processing into biodiesel product that commplied to specification standard as SNI 04 7182 2006 ASTM D6751 EN 14214 One of the efforts to reduce environmental pollution is to accommodate used cooking oil to be used as raw material for biodiesel. Benefits of using Used Cooking Oil as raw material for biodiesel :

• Biodiesel that come from Used Cooking Oil will reduce waste on environment.
• Biodiesel from vegetable oil produce less carbon dioxide when burned compared to fossil fuel.
• Unlike diesel combustion, biodiesel combustion not producing black smoke and the com bustion smells like used cooking oil itself Biodiesel also renewable and it’s carbon cycle didn’t cause global warming Whole Co 2 emission as much as 78 compared to fossil fueled diesel engine
